Ritual#1 – Clarity
I decided to do some research with women of all ages and walks of life. I was curious as to what their top three challenges were and these are the among the top ones that emerged consistently.
Thinking I am not good enough/ lack of self confidence
Feeling like I always need to prove myself to others
Comparing myself to others
I was aware of this before as I have worked with many ladies and these kept coming up but actually going out and doing the research again made me stop in my tracks. Why do so many of us feel this way and how can we change it?
I am so passionate about working with women to create more confidence and ease in their careers and lives, I thought I would share some tools and techniques that have helped me along the way to deal with all three (and more) of the above. These tools should be used consistently and especially when you are in that place of doubt and not feeling good enough. Do they work, ABSOLUTELY. I have road tested them for you.
Over the course of the next few weeks, I will be sharing a ritual with you every day that leads to CONFIDENCE
Clarity
Occupy your space
No and Yes
Face your gremlins
Inner guidance
Daily action
Energy allocation
Now be present
Cheerleader, be your own
Evolve and grow
So let’s start with CLARITY
CLARITY on who you want to show up as and what you want – so often if we don’t know where we are going, we end up procrastinating and losing our confidence and that is because we are not CLEAR on where we want to go.
#THE QUALITY OF YOUR LIFE STARTS WITH THE QUESTIONS YOU ASK YOURSELF
So let’s get started. Get comfortable with a notebook and a pen and let’s get to know you
Journal on the following
How would you describe the YOU that shows up at your best in 3 words?
Are you bold, passionate, dynamic, assertive, confident, happy, joyful, charismatic, loving. Remind yourself of the person you are at your best every day by sticking these up somewhere you can see them, carry them around in your phone and set a reminder to read them. Fill your mind with them over and over.
What do you desire for yourself professionally?
What do you desire for yourself personally?
Remember, if you focus on the stuff you want, there is no room for anything else. This works both ways so if you are focusing on the negative things in your life then there is no room for anything else. BE AWARE OF WHAT YOU FOCUS ON
