Say NO to the things you want to say NO to and YES to the things you want to say YES to

Too often we put others needs ahead of our own. Be honest with yourself, how often do you say yes when you really want to say no? The voice in your head is screaming out for you to say no. You say yes anyway even though you know you will struggle to fit it in.

Why do we say yes when we mean no? We’ve all done it and the most common reason is we are worried about what the other person will think about us.

From one recovering people pleaser to another, this does not serve you!!

The only person we should want to impress is ourselves and it is not our business what other people think of us.

#It’s time to purge that schedule

Look at what you have in your calendar for the next month and take an inventory of everything you have in it

RE-EXAMINE – is it really a yes or a no and if it’s a no, take it out and send your apologies. YOU CAN DO IT.

The next time someone asks you to do something PAUSE and get into the habit of asking yourself if it is a yes or a no and don’t be afraid to say no in the moment.

The secret is to get out of autopilot and be more conscious about your choices and how they are affecting you.
